A small fortune

Seeing as this is my first real thing in a while, I'm just gonna put it all out there. I went to an Es demo about a month and a half ago at le dome. Terrible place for a demo. While all the kiddies drooled over the double set I basically just took pictures of Mike Anderson. Josh Matthews was there, and really killed things. Oh, and Bobby Worrest swept some water in front of the hubba that nobody skated.

voila.

yo what are you shooting with, really good tones and shite. haha those photos look so french. good stuff, they all have this feeling. i ran into some guy on the train. didnt know who he was but knew i had seen him in skate vids. He was pretty cool, sean or ryan or something, kinda older, big brown beard, from Vancouver. haha sorry thats all i remember. he was telling me some darkroom horror stories. by the way i just got a developing mounting bag, the kind where you stick your hands through this bag to put the negs in the tank. it seems to be working great, developed 4 rolls fine yesterday. its funny though, cuz the lights are on, but you can't see anything where your hands are. its funny seeing the faces you make while trying to meticulously feed a roll of film onto a reel, that you would never see in the dark. learned in german class on thursday: Was Gehts (the skaters way of saying hi in german). translates to What It Goes.

thanks. The color stuff turned out nicer looking than I imagined it would. It was some kodak gold 200. I had my two rolls of color done and it cost me (title). I'm really jealous of your ability to develop your black and whites. Maybe I should get the kit to work that out with christmas/birthday money.

The skateboarder on the train comment intrigues me. So he's from Vancouver, has a beard, and is a pro skater or photographer? Any idea what videos he's from? who else was in em? Would be funny to be able to figure it out.

definately, its already become a easy procedure. it costed me about 60-70 euro to start out. the dev tank was like 15, the bag was 15, and some containers and a temperature gauge were like another 15. the develloper chemical is like 5 euro's and you can get a maximum of like 20 rolls of out it.
can't really say much more on that skater. i must have recognized him from a vid i watched with you or something. fuck i think he said he was in a emerica vid or something. if i find some time, i'll do some perusing of vids i've watched. we need to do something with these photos though, i was thinking of making a private blog to share photos with you, but not for public
